For whom:
All drivers with licenses in categories C, C1, D, and D1 who wish to maintain their professional qualifications. This course is part of the core courses that everyone must take. Here, drivers can check their status regarding courses. If no courses appear, there are no valid courses or they have not been registered by the course providers.
Objectives:
The goal is for the driver to be familiar with the road system and the main dangers that are present or could arise in relation to external conditions, such as different weather conditions. They should also be aware of the main types and causes of traffic and workplace accidents and know methods for accident prevention.
Description:
Professional drivers operating vehicles in categories C, C1, D, and D1 are required to complete five continuing education courses within the last five years for renewal in order to receive the code number 95 on their license. There is significant responsibility resting on drivers of large vehicles, and the goal of the courses is to enhance professional drivers as a trade and increase traffic safety. The 95 code allows drivers to operate within the EEA area. For more information, it can be accessed on the website of the Transport Authority.
