Payment must be completed before the course begins, and registration is not considered valid until payment has been made.
Payment Options
It is possible to pay for a course with major credit and debit cards. The payment is processed through Teya's secure payment gateway.
Refunds
A course fee can be refunded in specific cases:
· If a registered participant cancels their attendance and provides written notification via email to [email protected] at least 48 hours before the course begins.
· If the minimum number of participants is not reached and the course is cancelled, Iðan will refund the course fee in full. This also applies if a course is rescheduled to a new date and the registered participant is unable to attend.
Security Terms
The utmost security is ensured for course payments. Payments made with credit cards are processed through Teya's secure payment page.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement is in accordance with Icelandic law. Any legal disputes arising from it shall be brought before the Reykjavík District Court.
Iðan Education Centre emphasizes the secure and responsible processing of personal data. Iðan strives to limit the processing of personal data as much as possible and does not collect personal data beyond what is necessary.

Iðan Education Centre stores your personal data securely in accordance with the procedures that apply to each processing activity.
The length of time we store the information varies. Iðan Education Centre is subject to Act No. 77/2014 on Public Archives, and all cases that must be preserved according to the Act are stored for 30 years, after which they are transferred to the National Archives of Iceland. This applies, for example, to requests for information based on the Information Act and inquiries received through the “contact us” form on the website. Other data containing personal information is only stored for as long as necessary, after which it is deleted in accordance with Iðan's procedures for such matters.
According to data protection laws, you have the right to receive information about and access to the personal data we hold about you. In some cases, you may also have the right to have your personal data corrected, transferred elsewhere, or deleted.
Purpose of the surveillance: For security and property protection purposes.Legal basis for processing: Surveillance is conducted to protect the legitimate interests of the company in terms of security and property protection.Types of personal data: Video material created during the surveillance is processed, which may show individuals who have passed through the monitored area and their activities.Recipients: All video material is accessible to Iðan's security department, which is responsible for implementing the surveillance. Material containing information about accidents or criminal acts may also be handed over to the police. Material may also be made accessible to an insurance company if necessary for an insurance case. See also Articles 5 and 10 of Rules No. 50/2023 on electronic surveillance.Retention period of video material: Video material is stored for 30 days and is then deleted. However, recordings may be stored for longer if necessary to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim in a court case or for other similar legal necessities. If video material is handed over to the police, other copies of the material are deleted when the statute of limitations for the relevant claims has expired. Rights of individuals: You have the right to view video material in which you appear. You also have the right to receive a copy of such video material, provided that it does not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others.
