We are looking for a forward-thinking individual with professional ambition, initiative, leadership skills, knowledge of innovation, and outstanding communication skills to lead a team of 30 employees. The Managing Director handles the daily operations of the organisation and works on implementing the organisation's strategy.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily operations of the organisation
• Lead the organisation's sustainability journey
• Promote innovation and seek growth opportunities
• Build a strong network of industries
• Support managers and other staff and utilise their knowledge and insight
• Build a team environment
• Active communication with external stakeholders such as member associations, industry professionals, educational authorities, international partners, and the media
   

Education and skill requirements

• Vocational and/or university education and experience relevant to the job
• Leadership skills and the ability to create a strong team spirit
• A passion for developing knowledge and skills in industry
• Experience in operations and human resource management
• Ability to communicate progress in a data-driven manner
• Future vision and strategic thinking
• Ability to positively influence a culture of curiosity and development
• Understanding and ability to operate in accordance with legal and ethical requirements in the spirit of sustainability and the organisation's values, which are progressiveness, respect, and professionalism
