Great Conversations at Mannauðsdagurinn (HR Day) 2026
Iðan Education Centre took part in Human Resources Day 2026, where it had productive conversations with managers and HR professionals about training and skills development.
Visitors took note of the fact that 15,550 members belong to Iðan Education Centre, and many were surprised at how large the group is as a proportion of the Icelandic labour market. Managers were particularly curious about Iðan's role in shaping education and training in line with the needs of the business sector.
We presented the breadth of our services, including validation of prior learning (raunfærnimat) and Erasmus+, and discussed in particular the opportunities in using Iðan's course offerings as a complement to organisations' own training programmes.
A 3D-printed vase drew attention at our stand, and there was great participation in the game. We thank everyone who stopped by and are already counting down to the next Human Resources Day.
