Announcement of Journeyman's Examination

Journeyman's examinations in the following trades will be held in January, February, and March, provided there is sufficient participation:

In cooking, waiting, baking, and butchery in January 2024. The application deadline is 1 November 2023.

In construction trades in January 2024. The application deadline is 1 November 2023.

In mechanics in February 2024. The application deadline is 15 December 2023.

In metal turning in February - March 2024. The application deadline is 15 January 2024.

In cosmetology in February - March 2024. The application deadline is 5 January 2024.

In auto mechanics in February - March 2024. The application deadline is 5 January 2024.

In hairdressing in February - March 2024. The application deadline is 5 January 2024.

More specific dates will be published on the IÐAN Education Centre website as soon as they are available.

The application must be accompanied by a copy of the apprenticeship contract, a pension fund statement, or a confirmation from the school from the electronic logbook. Also, a graduation certificate with grades or a confirmation from the school that the student will graduate in December 2023. The cost for examinees, such as material costs, varies between trades.
