Announcement of Journeyman's Examination

Journeyman's examinations in the following trades will be held in January, February and March, provided there is sufficient participation:

• In culinary arts, waiting, baking and butchery in January 2023. The application deadline is 1 November 2022.
• In construction trades in January 2023. The application deadline is 1 November 2022.
• In mechanics in February 2023. The application deadline is 15 December 2022.
• In metal turning in February 2023. The application deadline is 4 January 2023.
• In cosmetology in February – March 2023. The application deadline is 4 January 2023.
• In auto mechanics in February – March 2023. The application deadline is 4 January 2023.
• In hairdressing in February – March 2023. The application deadline is 4 January 2023.

More detailed dates will be published on the Iðan Education Centre website as soon as they are available.

The application must be accompanied by a copy of the apprenticeship contract, a pension fund statement or a confirmation from the school from the electronic logbook, and a graduation certificate with grades or a confirmation from the school that the student will graduate in December 2022.

The cost for examinees, such as material costs, varies between trades.
