Ektafiskur
Elvar Reykjalín is the third generation of saltfish producers in Hauganes in the municipality of Dalvíkurbyggð.
Ektafiskur produces desalted and deboned saltfish and is a pioneer in this type of production, being the only company that produces for the consumer market using the old method. Elvar is active in innovation and has developed various new products from saltfish. He has also expanded his operations and opened the restaurant Baccalá Bar, which is located next to the saltfish processing plant, with much more planned.
