The application deadline for journeyman's examinations in the following trades has been extended to 1 May.
Further information on the dates of the examinations in individual trades will be announced on the IÐAN Education Centre website, www.idan.is, as soon as it becomes available.
Applications should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post. The application form can be found here on the IÐAN website.
Journeyman's examinations will be held in the following trades, provided there is sufficient participation:
Candidates who require special accommodations for the journeyman's examination are encouraged to apply for the appropriate arrangements to IÐAN's study and career counsellor by 1 May at the email address [email protected].
The application must be accompanied by a copy of the apprenticeship contract, a pension fund statement, and a graduation certificate with grades or a confirmation from the school that the student will graduate in spring 2020.
The candidate's costs, such as for materials, vary depending on the trade.
Prospective candidates are encouraged to follow further announcements regarding the administration of the journeyman's examinations on the IÐAN website. New updates will be posted on the website as soon as they are available.
