Donated a new driving school car

BL came bearing gifts in early February and presented Iðan Education Centre with a new Renault Megane E-Tech 100% electric car. The car was specially imported to the country for teaching purposes. The teaching car will be on display and used in a project at My Future 2025, the Icelandic Skills Competition, which will be held from 13-15 March in Laugardalshöll.

After that, the car will be used, for example, in electric car courses, general electrical courses, and possibly in a pilot project for journeyman's examinations.

BL will also use the car for its popular in-house courses held on Iðan's premises. Iðan always strives to offer course participants the latest in our fields, and this car will help with that. Vilborg Harðardóttir, Managing Director of Iðan, and Sigurður Svavar Indriðason, Head of Automotive Studies, received the car from the Managing Director of BL Sævarhöfði, Ingþór Ásgeirsson.
