Visit to the Printing History Museum
Haukur Már Haraldsson gave us a warm welcome at the Printing History Museum on Laugavegur.
The Printing History Centre is intended to chronicle the history of printing in Iceland, from the establishment of the printing press at Hólar in Hjaltadalur in the mid-16th century to the present day.
Haukur, along with his colleagues, aims to be open three times a week and tells us that the centre's visitors are not only printing enthusiasts but a diverse group of Icelanders and foreign tourists.
