RST net is a well-established company that specialises in electrical equipment related to the power transmission system. We visited the company in Hafnarfjörður to learn more about new possibilities in metal welding. They have a new Cowelder welding robot that we wanted to learn more about.
A Cowelder is a computer-controlled arm and an electric welding machine. The biggest benefit of using the device is the quality of the weld and the fact that it never gets tired. By programming the machine correctly, it is possible to achieve a near-perfect weld, which is key to the company's production. However, all of this depends on the professional behind the machine knowing exactly what they are doing.
