IÐAN Education Centre recently visited Fab Lab Reykjavík.
Kristjana Guðbrandsdóttir went on site and spoke with Þóra Óskarsdóttir, the director of Fab Lab. They looked at the equipment and the opportunities the operation offers for industry professionals. The Fab Lab's activities are an important pillar of innovation, and anyone can get their ideas off the ground there. Young people with strong technical knowledge work there, and one could say that the old adage, what is learned in the cradle is carried to the tomb, has been turned on its head.
Further introductions and instruction on individual devices and software can be expected in the coming weeks and months. Á vettvangi (On Site) is a new educational series offered by IÐAN Education Centre.
