Iðan presented its services at the Human Resources Day and the West Iceland Career Fair
Iðan Education Centre presented its services at two major events, the Human Resources Day in Harpa and the Career Fair in West Iceland.
This year's Human Resources Day was titled: “The driving force of change lies in a company's human resources.”
This is one of the country's largest conferences in the field of human resources and management. This year, over 1,200 conference attendees gathered, along with 140 companies that presented their services.
Iðan Education Centre took an active part and presented courses in the culinary and catering field, as well as ways to enhance the skills of industrial workers.
At the 2025 Career Fair, Iðan presented a variety of study opportunities and educational paths for primary and secondary school students. The aim of the fair is to connect the business world with young people and raise awareness of the education and skills that will matter in future jobs.
“It's a great inspiration to participate in two major events on the same day and experience the power inherent in Icelandic trades. For us at Iðan, it's very important to have a good dialogue with HR professionals and managers about the development and availability of continuing and further education in industry, but it's just as important to see how young people's interest in trades is growing rapidly. The future is bright, and Iðan's role has seldom been as important,” says Sólveig Kolbrún Pálsdóttir, the new Marketing Manager of Iðan Education Centre.
