Informational Meeting on the Assessment of Prior Learning

An informational meeting about the assessment of prior learning will be held on Thursday, 30 August at 17:00 at IÐAN Education Centre, Vatnagarðar 20 in Reykjavík. The assessment of prior learning is intended to evaluate the skills and knowledge you have acquired through work and may potentially shorten your studies.

Trades available for assessment in autumn 2018 (subject to sufficient participation):

• Carpentry, plumbing, painting
• Sheet metal work, lathing, steel construction, machine operation
• Waiting

Admission requirements for the assessment of prior learning:
23 years of age and 3 years of experience in the relevant trade (confirmed with official documents)
