Informational Meeting on the Assessment of Prior Learning

An informational meeting about the assessment of prior learning will be held on Tuesday, 12 September at 17:00 at IÐAN Education Centre, Vatnagarðar 20 in Reykjavík. The assessment of prior learning is intended to evaluate the skills and knowledge you have acquired through work and may potentially shorten your studies.

In the autumn semester of 2017, the following trades and professions will be available for assessment (subject to sufficient participation):

• Carpentry
• Painting
• Sheet metal work
• Lathing
• Steel construction
• Metal welding
• Mechanics
• Engine operation
• Photography

Admission requirements for the assessment of prior learning:
23 years of age and 3 years of experience in the relevant field (confirmed with official documents)
