Certification Course for Structural Designers
A course for construction designers seeking certification from the Housing and Construction Authority to create master and special drawings, cf. provisions of Articles 25 and 26 of the Act on Construction No. 160/2010, will be held in November 2022. The course is taught via distance learning.
A course for construction designers seeking certification from the Housing and Construction Authority to prepare general and special drawings, cf. the provisions of Articles 25 and 26 of the Act on Construction, No. 160/2010, will be held in November 2022 as a distance learning course. Lectures will be made available on Monday, 14 November, and will remain open until 26 November. The course concludes with an exam on Saturday, 26 November (all dates are subject to change).
The course fee is ISK 95,000, and ISK 60,000 for those attending the course for continuing education without taking the exam.
Applications, along with supporting documents, must be submitted through the My Pages section of the Housing and Construction Authority's website no later than Friday, 31 October 2022.
Supporting documents are:
- A copy of the applicant's diploma
- A certificate from the Ministry of Industries and Innovation regarding the right to a professional title
- A certificate(s) of 3 years' work experience, cf. Paragraph 1 of Article 26 of the Act on Construction
