Certification Course for Structural Designers
A course for structural designers seeking certification from the Housing and Construction Authority to create general and special drawings, cf. provisions of Articles 25 and 26 of the Act on Structures No. 160/2010, will be held in April 2023. The course is taught via distance learning.
A course for construction designers seeking certification from the Housing and Construction Authority to create general and special drawings, cf. provisions of Articles 25 and 26 of the Act on Construction No. 160/2010, will be held in April 2023. The course will be conducted via distance learning. Lectures will be made available on Tuesday, 18 April, and will remain open until 6 May. The course concludes with an exam on Saturday, 6 May (all dates are subject to change).
The course fee is ISK 95,000, and ISK 60,000 for those attending the course for continuing education without an exam.
Applications must be submitted through My Pages on the Housing and Construction Authority website, along with supporting documents, no later than Monday, 10 April 2023.
Supporting documents are:
- A copy of the applicant's diploma
- A certificate from the Ministry of Industries and Innovation regarding the right to a professional title
- A certificate(s) of 3 years' work experience, cf. Paragraph 1, Article 26 of the Act on Construction
