Learning Management System for Customers

Learning Management System for Customers

Young Icelandic enthusiasts have designed a learning management system that is quite different from those currently on the market.

The company LearnCove is five years old and has undergone significant changes in a short time. The learning management system of the same name was originally intended for Icelandic primary schools but is no less useful for companies that want to teach their customers how to use their solutions.

"Learning management systems can be very different," says Aðalheiður, "they can be useful for internal staff training and all kinds of learning and courses. Our focus today lies in the external training of companies, if you will, where the software is used to educate the customers of manufacturing companies.

The system supports the use of videos and virtual reality, but it is also possible to add manuals or other existing documents. "We want to move the old manuals from being on paper to being more dynamic," says Aðalheiður. "It's a lot of work to always be on-site with the customer, especially if they are located abroad, and that's where the software comes in handy.

Aðalheiður says that the future of LearnCove lies in increased collaboration in the international market. The goal is for manufacturers of various hardware and software to be able to better utilize training opportunities for their customers.
