Stjórnvísi and Iðan are holding an educational meeting on Tuesday, 31 January, from 9:00-10:00, which will be streamed via Teams.
At the turn of the year, new laws on waste management and sorting, also known as the circular economy laws, came into effect. What changes will the implementation of these laws bring for businesses, and what are the effects on the climate?
The meeting will provide good advice for companies on how to reduce waste and sort it properly. It will cover how waste is handled and the greenhouse gas emissions from different waste sorting methods. What are the benefits of sorting well, and what does it cost to dispose of different waste categories?
The meeting will be in the form of a panel discussion, and attendees are encouraged to submit questions during the meeting for our experts to answer. The experts are:
