N. Hansen is a small family business in Akureyri. It was founded in 2006 and is well-staffed with educated and experienced industry professionals.
The company has the technical equipment and expertise in the field of 3D printing, with an emphasis on responding quickly and effectively to the needs of Icelandic industry.
N. Hansen is a leader when it comes to 3D printing in steel. The company's printing department uses 4 plastic printers and 2 steel printers under the supervision of Arnór Ingi Hansen and his team. For steel printing, the MetalFuse system from Raise 3D is used. Its installation was completed in early 2024, making N. Hansen the second company in the world to offer finished 3D-printed steel parts from this manufacturer.
