Roundtable discussions with experts in the hotel, restaurant, and tourism industries.
Iðan Education Centre and SAF invite all interested parties to participate in a 90-minute webinar roundtable discussion on 29 April at 8:00 AM (on Zoom) with experts in the hotel, restaurant, and tourism industries. The event is organised by the MCEU project and the Hosco recruitment service. The meeting will address the skills needs and educational pathways for professionals in these sectors. The discussion is based on the results of a recent survey of 3,800 employees in the hotel and restaurant sectors in Europe.
The roundtable will cover a wide range of topics, including sustainability, digital skills, management, and the professional skills of staff. Special emphasis will be placed on the changes that are taking place in these areas. It will also discuss how to respond to these changes, for example, through targeted staff training, new hires, and professional development work.
The discussion will be divided into two parts:
- A presentation of the initial findings of the MCEU project, which reveal the current and future skills needs in the hotel, restaurant, and tourism industries.
- A panel discussion with international experts who will share their perspectives and ways to improve.
