In the first episode, we are joined by Ólöf Ólafsdóttir, one of the country's foremost pastry chefs. Ólöf, who graduated as a pastry chef from ZBC Ringsted in Denmark in 2021, has won many awards. Among other things, she won the Dessert of the Year competition in the same year she graduated. Ólöf went with the Icelandic national culinary team to the Culinary Olympics in Stuttgart last February, where the team won two gold medals and finished third overall. She published the book “Irresistible Desserts” in 2023, and today Ólöf works as a pastry chef at the restaurant Monkeys.
In the episode, Ólöf shares her experience and gives us insight into the world of desserts, as well as discussing her career and future plans. This is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the country's best pastry chefs and get inspiration for your own cooking.
