Expanding the range of services for Polish-speaking trade union members
Irena Halina Kołodziej, an educational and career advisor at the IÐAN Education Centre, has prepared three YouTube videos for our Polish-speaking union members about the services available to them.
These videos aim to draw special attention to the fact that the IÐAN Education Centre is able to provide good and efficient services to Polish-speaking union members.
Irena Halina Kołodziej, an educational and vocational counsellor, has prepared urgent information in Polish about the services of the IÐAN Education Centre. A great deal of emphasis is placed on meeting the needs of the large group of Polish-speaking union members and presenting the opportunities available to them.
In the first video, Irena talks about the validation of professional qualifications acquired in the labour market, its advantages and the criteria for participating in the validation process, which begins with the counsellors at the IÐAN Education Centre.
In the second video, Irena talks about the educational and vocational counselling available. The counselling is tailored to the circumstances of each person who approaches them, and appropriate help and support is provided, for example, in the areas of lifelong learning, validation and CV writing. Irena also says that special resources can be applied for by people who struggle with exam anxiety, dyslexia and other factors that can make learning and working difficult.
In the third video, Irena discusses the assessment and recognition of professional qualifications obtained abroad in regulated professions. This is a service that is well-utilised at the IÐAN Education Centre, but not everyone is aware of the opportunities available to them.
