Validation of Prior Learning in the Autumn Semester 2017
IÐAN Education Centre offers recognition of prior learning in ten trades in the autumn semester of 2017.
Assessment of prior learning is a way to evaluate the skills and knowledge that can be acquired in the labour market. The assessment can potentially shorten your studies and serve as an incentive to complete them. The conditions for participating in an assessment of prior learning are being 23 years of age and having 3 years of confirmed work experience in the relevant trade. This method has yielded good results, as many participants in the assessment of prior learning have continued their studies and completed a journeyman's examination after the assessment.

Admission requirements for an assessment of prior learning:
23 years of age and 3 years of experience in the relevant trade, based on full-time employment (confirmed with official documents, e.g., pension fund statements)
