3D Printing - The Fourth Industrial Revolution - Live Broadcast
On Thursday, February 15th, 3D printing will be the topic of IÐAN's meeting series on the fourth industrial revolution. The meeting begins at 8:30 AM and will be held at IÐAN's premises at Vatnagarðar 20.
Three presentations will be offered at the meeting: Linda Wanders, a specialist at the Innovation Center Iceland, will discuss 3D printing in the past and future. Paolo Gargiulo, an associate professor at the School of Science and Engineering at RU, will talk about 3D printing in surgical planning. Finally, Lárus Gunnsteinsson, an orthopaedic shoemaker and product designer at Össur, will discuss how 3D printing has been used in the creation of prototypes.
The meeting will be held at IÐAN's premises at Vatnagarðar 20 and will start promptly at 8:30 AM. The moderator is Ingi Rafn Ólafsson, Head of Division at IÐAN Education Centre.
