An impressive group of new journeymen received their journeyman's certificates in Hof on 11 April.
A group of new journeymen received their journeyman's certificates at a formal ceremony in Hof yesterday. In total, new journeymen graduated from seven trades, which are:
Over 40 new journeymen received their journeyman's certificates along with a gift certificate for a course at Iðan.
Among the group of new journeymen in North Iceland were two individuals with the highest grade on the journeyman's examination: Sigurður Bergmann Sigmarsson, who received the highest grade in cooking, and Hrannar Marel Birgisson, who was one of three new journeymen in painting to receive the highest grade.
Hildur Elín Vignir conducted the ceremony along with Heimir Kristinsson, vice-chairman of Byggiðn, Bergvin Bessason, vice-chairman of FMA, Rúnar Ingi Guðjónsson, and Magnús Friðriksson, who are on the board of MATVÍS.
