The Nordic Welding Conference

The Nordic Welding Conference will be held on August 23 and 24.

The Nordic Welding Conference will be held on 23 and 24 August at the premises of IÐAN Education Centre at Vatnagarðar 20 in Reykjavík. The conference is a collaborative project between IÐAN and the Icelandic Welding Society.

Main themes of the conference:

  • Welding and the Fourth Industrial Revolution
  • Automation and robots in welding
  • Stainless steel and welding in harsh conditions
  • Solid-state welding of dissimilar materials

Speakers at the conference come from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, and Iceland.
