IÐAN Education Centre recently collaborated with Anna Marsibil Clausen on creating a micro-course about podcasts. The result is now online and accessible to all interested parties on IÐAN's YouTube channel.
The short course is divided into six parts. It provides a general overview of podcasts and their nature, where to find them, and how to listen to them. It also covers how participants can record their own podcasts using a smartphone.
Anna Marsibil Clausen holds a BA in General Literary Studies from the University of Iceland and has also completed a master's degree at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. Her final project was about waiting for death on California's death row. Anna has written for Monitor, mbl.is, Iceland Review, and Kjarninn.
