Applications have opened on the IÐA website for the culinary and serving apprentice competition.
On Friday, 14 January 2022, a competition will be held for culinary and waiting apprentices. Applications must be submitted to IÐAN's Food and Catering Division. The application deadline is 10 January. The competition will take place on Friday, 14 January at 10:30 AM.
Eligibility is age-restricted. Competitors must not be older than 23 on 1 May 2022, and it is a requirement that apprentices are on an apprenticeship contract in May 2022. The two individuals with the highest scores in culinary arts and waiting will participate in the Nordic Apprentice Competition, which will be held at the Hotel and Food School on 23 and 24 April 2022.
