The deadline to apply for the workplace training grant for the year 2021 has been extended to 26 November.
The Workplace Learning Fund allocates grants for workplace learning or vocational training to encourage companies and institutions to accept students undertaking workplace learning as part of their upper secondary education. Companies and institutions that meet the general conditions of the current regulation on apprenticeship contracts and vocational training regarding their eligibility to supervise students in vocational training are entitled to apply for a grant.
A grant for each student is awarded for a maximum of 48 weeks per year, but never for longer than the total time required for workplace learning in the respective programme. Further information can be found on the Rannís website.
Applications are submitted through the Rannís application system.
