Graduation Exhibition of Students in Graphic Communication and Bookbinding
Graduating students from the School of Information Technology in graphic communication and bookbinding put on a magnificent graduation exhibition at the school's premises on Háteigsvegur.
Fifteen students from graphic communication showed their designs, all of which were magnificent. The students also published the magazine Ask, which reflects their different personalities, ideas, and designs. For this, the students had to utilize most aspects of their studies, such as typography, image processing, prepress, layout, printing, and bookbinding. During their studies, the students have learned to design and present material for print, web, and screen media.
Two students graduated from bookbinding, where they have learned the finishing of printed material using both computer-controlled bookbinding machines and manual bookbinding. They also learn to repair books and cut out various materials such as brochures, business cards, packaging, and more.
The students' works were well presented, diverse, and accessible to visitors. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to them all on a magnificent exhibition and spoke with three students at the show.
