There are great opportunities in automation and the use of bots, says Yngvi Tómasson, CEO of Leikbreytir.
“I started making websites at a young age and have worked in the tech sector my whole life,” says Yngvi Tómasson, CEO of Leikbreytir, a company that specialises in creating chatbots and smartbots.
“There are great opportunities in automation and the use of smartbots, for example, to answer recurring questions,” says Yngvi. “We customise solutions for each client by first implementing a chatbot. This way, we collect common questions directed at the company, and once they have been gathered, the smartbot is ready with the answers.”
“Of course, there are many unsolved challenges in this field, but I believe that in the coming years, there will be a tremendous change in the quality of the service,” says Yngvi. “With the help of artificial intelligence and increased automation, smartbots will not only answer customers’ most common questions but will also be able to prevent problems and even take various initiatives, so people will need to seek assistance less often.”
