We congratulate the new journeymen
On Wednesday, 25 March, 145 new journeymen received their journeyman's certificates at a ceremony at the Hilton Nordica. This time, it was new journeymen in carpentry, cooking, painting, and plumbing who received their journeyman's certificates.
The new journeymen also received plaques and gifts from the trade unions, as well as gift certificates for courses held by Iðan. Húsasmiðjan also gave gifts to the new journeymen in the building and construction trades.
Awards were then presented for the best performance in the journeyman's examination in each trade.
At the end of the ceremony, Ari Eldjárn took the stage and struck the right chord. We congratulate the new journeymen on this remarkable milestone and celebrate the addition of more journeymen to the ranks of skilled professionals in the industry.
