Validation

An informational meeting about skills validation for Polish citizens working as housekeepers, food technologists, carpenters, and painters will be held on Wednesday, 9 January 2019, at 6:00 PM at the IÐAN Education Centre, located at Vatnagarðar 20, 104 Reykjavik.

The purpose of validation is to assess experience in a given profession. The duration of study and subjects taught at a vocational school or other trade school will also be taken into account in the assessment.

Validation covers four professions: housekeeper, food technologist, carpenter, and painter.

Conditions for participating in the validation:
Must be at least 23 years old with 3 years of professional experience in the industry, including at least 6 months in the Icelandic labour market. Professional experience must be confirmed by official documents.
