Validation
Do you want your knowledge and experience to be recognised and validated in Iceland?
An informational meeting about skills validation will be held on Thursday, 28 February at 6 p.m. at the headquarters of IÐAN, a continuing education centre, at Vatnagarðar 20, 104 Reykjavik.
The purpose of skills validation is to assess experience in a given profession. The duration of study and subjects taught at a vocational school or other vocational training institution will also be taken into account in the assessment.
The validation will cover three professions: carpenter, painter, and food technologist.
Conditions for participating in the validation:
- Must be at least 23 years old and have 3 years of professional experience in the industry, including at least 6 months in the Icelandic labour market. Professional experience must be confirmed with official documents.
