Interesting webinar on microlearning and professional development

The event is part of the conference “Verifiable Credentials for a Changing Europe” and is organised in collaboration with the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and University College of Northern Denmark (UCN).

This is a roundtable discussion that will cover the use of micro-credentials for continuing and further education in the tourism industry, in line with the European Union's focus on professional development and lifelong learning. This is the second roundtable offered in connection with the MCEU project, in which IÐAN Education Centre and SAF are partners.

The roundtable is an ideal platform for professionals, leaders, teachers, managers, and policymakers who are interested in developing the professionals of the future. People are welcome to drop into the webinar, which will run from 8:00-13:00 on Thursday, 19 June, and check out some of the following agenda items:

• The role of micro-credentials in professional development and corporate training
• A live demonstration of the Diplomasafe digital platform for issuing micro-credential certifications
• A panel discussion on lifelong learning and continuing education for staff in the restaurant industry using micro-credentials
• Insights from industry experts, educational institutions, and EU politicians
