At the end of May, staff from Iðunn Education Centre visited Skógarafurðir in East Iceland.There, Icelandic wood is processed into construction timber. Ólafur Ástgeirsson, head of construction and civil engineering, spoke with brothers Bjarki and Guðni Jónsson at Skógarafurðir about the production process, drying, certifications, and opportunities for further utilisation of Icelandic forest products in construction.
