A course for construction designers seeking certification from the Icelandic Construction Authority to create general and special drawings, cf. provisions of Articles 25 and 26 of the Act on Construction No. 160/2010, will be held in March–April 2020. The course will be conducted via distance learning. Lectures will be made available on Monday, 9 March, and will remain open until 4 April. The course concludes with an on-site electronic exam on Saturday, 4 April 2020 (all dates are subject to change).
The course fee is ISK 95,000, and ISK 60,000 for those attending the course for continuing education without taking the exam. The application deadline is Monday, 2 March.
