There has been high demand for the course Converting a Land Rover to an Electric Car – Practical, held in collaboration with Electric Classic Cars and ÍSAK 4x4 Rental. The course is now fully booked.
Those who did not get a spot will have the opportunity to follow the proceedings, as a live stream will be offered from Iðan's premises. There, you can see the main practical elements of the course and get an insight into the process of converting a Land Rover Defender into an electric car.
In the course, participants will work on installing a high-voltage system from a 2023 Nissan Leaf into a 2007 Land Rover Defender 110, with the goal of making the car roadworthy by the end of the course. The course covers the installation of high-voltage systems, connections to the powertrain, necessary equipment, and safety measures.
