English Through Sustainability – Sustainability
In this ESL lesson plan for adults, students watch and listen to a video report about sustainability and the three core concepts of sustainability. The preview activities include numbers and facts about the environment, student opinions about sustainability, vocabulary activities related to the topic of environmental sustainability, and activities on what companies and individuals can do to develop sustainable and ecological behaviour. Students then do some listening/viewing comprehension activities based on the video. The viewing follow-up includes activities on verbs & verb forms (gerund or infinitive) used in the video, as well as a grammar activity on the use of the passive voice.
